Minnesota has made quick work of Phoenix in this opening-round series, winning all three games by double-digits. After Friday’s 126-109 victory, the Timberwolves are now -3000 favorites to win the series.

The Suns were 4.5-point favorites in Game 3, but they are now 1.5-point underdogs ahead of Sunday’s matchup.

Minnesota has been underrated by the betting market for this entire series and perhaps even longer, so it’s nice to see this team finally getting some respect in Game 4.

That makes sense to me, as it looks like the Suns have given up.

The Wolves know they need to take care of business to get some rest opportunities ahead of a huge matchup against the Denver Nuggets. They won’t want to waste a single day.

Minnesota’s defense has silenced a Phoenix team that entered the year as the No. 4 favorite in NBA championship odds. The Suns have been held to 99 points per game.

As long as the Timberwolves continue to bring it on the defensive end, I am comfortable betting on them to win at -125 or better.
