LeBron James leads the league in all-time triple-doubles in the NBA Finals with 11 in 55 NBA Finals games. “King James” had the most triple-doubles during his time with the Cavaliers with six, four with the Heat, and one with the Lakers. Credit to these performances, he delivered a title to each of these teams and won four of his own in the process.
Magic Johnson, who accumulated eight triple-doubles in 50 games, is sitting at the number two spot in this category. Because of this display of the all-around game, Johnson collected five NBA titles with three Finals MVP trophies in his 13 seasons with the Purple and Gold. He also averaged a double-double in the Finals with 19.4 points and 11.7 assists with 7.9 rebounds.
Draymond Green is following James and Johnson on this list, who helped the Golden State Warriors win four championships through his three triple-double performances in 33 NBA Finals games. The defensive-minded forward was one of the key players on the team and put up a stat line of 11.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists.
Wrapping up this list of players with the most NBA Finals triple-doubles is a seven-way tie between Bill Russell (70 games), Bob Cousy (42 games), Wilt Chamberlain (35 games), Larry Bird (31 games), Walt Frazier (17 games), Jimmy Butler (six games), Nikola Jokic (five games) who all had two triple-doubles each during their respective campaigns in the finals.
