- Michael Jordan leads the list of NBA players with the most points scored in one playoff run with 759.
- LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard sit second and third on the list.
- All players in this category have at least 650 points each.
Michael Jordan holds the record for the most points scored by an NBA player in one playoff run with 759. He did it during the 1991-92 season and led the Chicago Bulls to the promised land with a 4-2 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Finals. Due to Jordanโs dominance in the postseason, the Bulls were always in a prime position to win a title in NBA odds.

Next to Jordan on the list is LeBron James, who racked up 748 points during the 2017-18 season, when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Like โAir Jordan,โ โKing Jamesโ was able to help his team reach the NBA Finals; however, they fell short of winning it all as the super team of Golden State Warriors comfortably swept them.

Sitting third on the list is Kawhi Leonard with 732 points when he suited up for the Toronto Raptors in 2019. In the offseason, Leonard was involved in a blockbuster trade, where San Antonio shipped him for DeMar DeRozan. This big risk by Toronto paid a huge dividend because โThe Klawโ delivered the franchiseโs first title since joining the league in 1995.
Rounding out the top five scorers in a single playoff run are Hakeem Olajuwon with 725 and Allen Iverson with 723. Both Olajuwon and Iverson were able to spearhead their teamโs run to the NBA Finals, but they have contrasting results: โThe Dreamโ led Houston to its second Larry OโBrien Trophy, while the Lakers defeated Iverson and the 76ers in five games.
Below is a table of the top 10 NBA players with the most points scored in one playoff run. Note that these numbers are as of the 2021-22 season.
