Teams that have a good shot of making the NBA playoffs are going to face off in the next few days.

If you want to bet on NBA games, here are online sports betting insights for the Dallas Mavericks playing the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, the Philadelphia 76ers taking on the New York Knicks on Sunday, as well as Texas facing Kansas State in men’s college basketball on Saturday.

NBA

Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors

Saturday, Feb. 4 | TV: ABC | 8:30 p.m. ET

This will be a battle between two teams fighting to stay in the playoff picture. As of Thursday, Feb. 2, the Warriors are seventh in the Western Conference at 26-25, and the Mavericks are fifth at 27-25.

Despite playing just 36 games as of Thursday, Stephen Curry has still been one of the best players in the league. The Warriors guard was averaging 29.7 points per game and led the league with 4.9 made 3-pointers per game.

Mavericks star Luka Doncic has also been phenomenal. He was second in the league with 33.4 points per game and fourth with 8.3 assists per contest. His NBA MVP odds were +500.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks

Sunday, Feb. 5 | TV: ESPN | 6 p.m. ET

Going into this game, the 76ers are hoping to improve their playoff positioning as they were third in the Eastern Conference at 33-17 as of Thursday, Feb. 2. The Knicks, seventh in the East, would be in the NBA’s Play-In Tournament at 27-25.

76ers center Joel Embiid was second at +220 in NBA MVP odds and is deserving. He was leading the league with 33.5 points per game to go with 10.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest.

The Knicks have been fairly well-balanced this season. Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson both average over 22 points per game and have been worthy of All-Star consideration. RJ Barrett has also played well offensively, averaging 20.1 points per contest.

College Basketball

Texas vs. Kansas State

Saturday, Feb. 4 | TV: ESPN2 | 4 p.m. ET

This game is a matchup between two top-10 ranked teams. As of Thursday, Feb. 2, Texas’ college basketball odds to win the national championship were +2200, while Kansas State’s were +3500.

No. 10-ranked Texas was leading the Big 12 with a 7-2 record in the Big 12. No. 7 Kansas State was among four teams that were 6-3 against Big 12 teams.

Texas guard Marcus Carr has fueled his team in several ways. He had a team-high 16.7 points, four assists and 1.7 steals per contest.

Kansas State forward Keyontae Johnson has also been a highly impactful player. He was leading the Wildcats with 18.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per contest.
