Bird, a former player for the Boston Celtics, won the first three 3-point contests between 1986-88 after the event was created to be a part of the NBA’s All-Star weekend. Hodges won three straight 3-point competitions as a member of the Chicago Bulls between 1990-92.
Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard is the NBA betting favorite to join this exclusive group by winning this year’s 3-point contest following event victories in 2023 and 2024.
