The last time Florida made the Final Four was 2014. The Gators lost to UConn, 63-53, in the national semifinal. Florida was a No. 1 seed, while UConn was a No. 7.

Florida Final Four History

Florida has reached the Final Four five times. All of those appearances have come after the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985:

  • 1994
  • 2000
  • 2006
  • 2007
  • 2014

The Gators are 3-2 in the national semifinals, winning in 2000, 2006, and 2007. They lost the national championship game in 2000 but won the tournament in 2006 and 2007.
