Kansas last missed the 1989 NCAA Tournament.

From 1990-2024, the Jayhawks have made 34 straight NCAA Tournaments, which is the longest active streak for consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. (The NCAA later vacated their 2018 appearance.)

Kansas also has won the NCAA Tournament four times, with three of them coming after the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985:

  • 1952
  • 1988
  • 2008
  • 2022
