Women’s basketball has exploded in popularity in recent years, which means more fans are searching for dates, times, and locations for the upcoming NCAA women’s tournament.

For anyone planning a trip to an upcoming women’s tournament game or just looking to block time to catch the games on TV and bet some NCAA basketball odds, here’s some helpful information.

NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Schedule (2025)

The women’s tournament 68-team field will be announced on Sunday, March 16. 

The First Four games will start a few days later on March 19. The full first round will begin on March 21. The first week of games will be concluded by the end of March 24, staggered two days behind the men’s schedule. 

The women’s Sweet 16 games will begin on March 28 with the Final Four set by March 31.

The Final Four will be played in Tampa on April 4 with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, April 6.
