High-profile matchups in the Big 12 scheduled for this weekend could have substantial impacts on the rest of the season.

Here are online sports betting insights for No. 19-ranked Iowa State taking on No. 12 Kansas State and No. 9-ranked Baylor facing No. 5 Kansas in college basketball as well as the NBA All-Star game.

College Basketball

Iowa State Cyclones vs. Kansas State Wildcats

Saturday, Feb. 18 | TV: ESPN | 2 p.m. ET

As of Feb. 14, both programs were 7-5 in Big 12 games, while the Wildcats were 19-6 overall and the Cyclones were 16-8.

Keyontae Johnson was Kansas State’s leading scorer and rebounder, with 17.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Markquis Nowell (16.9 points per game) and Nae’Qwan Tomlin (10.2 points per game) were also scoring in double digits.

Iowa State was among the top 20 teams in the country, with 61.8 points per game allowed. Jaren Holmes was leading the Cyclones with 13.5 points per game. Gabe Kalscheur had 12.7 points per game, while Caleb Grill had 10.5 points and a team-high 4.3 rebounds per contest.

Baylor Bears vs. Kansas Jayhawks

Saturday, Feb. 18 | TV: ESPN | 4 p.m. ET

Baylor was tied for first in the Big 12 with Texas at 9-4 in conference play and a 20-6 overall record, while Kansas was third at 20-5 and 8-4 in the Big 12 as of Feb. 14. 

Jalen Wilson was powering the Jayhawks with 20.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest. Gradey Dick (14.2), Kevin McCullar Jr. (10.6), and K.J. Adams Jr. (10.4) were also averaging more than 10 points per game.

Keyonte George had a Baylor-best 16.5 points per game. Adam Flagler was averaging 15.8 points per game, while LJ Cryer had 14.9.

NBA

Team LeBron vs. Team Giannis

Sunday, Feb. 19 | TV: TNT | 7:30 p.m. ET

Some of the most talented basketball players in the world will team up for the NBA All-Star game this weekend as the rest of the league takes a short break.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a leader for one of the teams. He was third in the league with 32.4 points per game and led the NBA with 12.3 rebounds per contest, as of Feb. 14.

Joel Embiid of the 76ers, Kyrie Irving, who now plays for the Mavericks, Donovan Mitchell of the Cavaliers and Jayson Tatum of the Celtics are also Eastern Conference starters.

LeBron James, a 19-time All-Star, will lead the other team. Western Conference starters also include Luka Doncic of the Mavericks, Lauri Markkanen of the Jazz, Ja Morant of the Grizzlies and Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets.

There will be a player draft prior to the game to determine the exact teams. Antetokounmpo and James will be the captains.
