The Wildcats’ roster was stacked with stars: future No. 1 overall pick Karl Anthony-Towns, Trey Lyles, and future NBA All-Star Devin Booker, to name a few. The team finished the season a perfect 31-0, the best start to a season in program history.

By the time the NCAA tournament rolled around, they were the No. 1 seed and had a real shot at riding that success to the top. However, the dream ended in the Final Four.

Their first and only loss of the season came at the hands of the Wisconsin Badgers.
