From the late 1970s through the mid-2000s, the AFC West was filled with parity. No team won more than three straight division titles, and no team went more than a decade without a title.

That’s no longer the case as the Kansas City Chiefs seek a seventh straight AFC West title, a run that follows five straight by the Denver Broncos. And the Chiefs sit atop NFL odds to win the AFC West again in 2022.
