The biggest comeback in Super Bowl history is the Patriotsโ€™ 25-point comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.ย

The Patriots trailed 28-3 late in the third quarter before successfully mounting five unanswered scoring drives throughout the final 20 minutes of regulation and overtime. They eventually won, 34-28.

The last 20 years of Super Bowls have left us with many of the biggest comebacks in Super Bowl history, perhaps because 21st-century offenses are more capable of erasing large deficits.

The Chiefs are one such example. In Super Bowl LIV, Kansas City trailed San Francisco, 20-10, with only half the fourth quarter remaining. But Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefsโ€™ offense found the end zone three times in the final seven minutes, ultimately winning 31-20.

In Super Bowl XLIX, New England erased a 10-point hole to the Seahawks, then got the infamous pick at the goal line to seal the win.

In Super Bowl XLIV, the Saints trailed 10-0 early but ultimately came back to beat the Colts, 31-17.

At halftime of Super Bowl LVII, the Chiefs are trailing the Eagles by 10 points, 24-14.
