  • The Bills’ 2026 win total is set at 10.5 wins at BetMGM.
  • Buffalo has won at least 10 games in seven straight seasons.
  • I predict the Bills finish over 10.5 wins due to a strong rushing attack.

For the 2026 NFL season, the Bills win total sits at 10.5 wins at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

Buffalo won 12 games in 2025, extending their streak of 10+ win seasons to seven. Despite the success, the Bills fell 33-30 in overtime to the Broncos in the divisional round.

Changes resulted from the playoff failure, with Sean McDermott losing his job. Buffalo promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach and hired Pete Carmichael as OC.

Here’s a look at the NFL odds for Buffalo’s 2026 win total and my Bills win total prediction.

Bills Win Total Odds

The Bills’ season win total is set at 10.5 games.

Oddsmakers expect the over as the more likely outcome. Currently, Buffalo is -145 to win 11 or more games.

Meanwhile, the odds for them to finish with 10 or fewer wins is +120.

Here are the 2026 NFL win totals for all AFC East teams:

Bills Win Total Prediction, 2026

Based on Buffalo’s consistent offensive ceiling and the team’s ability to run the ball, I predict the Bills finish Over 10.5 Wins (-145) in 2026.

Evaluating this win total as a zero-sum game leads me to the over. However, asking Buffalo to clear this number at a higher rate than the implied odds (59%) is a more difficult task.

Playing in the AFC East gives Buffalo a huge advantage. Barring catastrophic injury issues, Buffalo’s floor within the division is likely 5-1.

Of course, this is a team that lost only 11 adjusted games to injury on offense last year. In 2024, the team lost only 12.3 adjusted games to injury offensively.

That’s not a reason enough to step in front of Buffalo’s win total. But it does make me pause to think whether it’s worth it to lay this much juice on a season-long future.

Additionally, Buffalo plays a brutal schedule outside the division.

The entire AFC East plays non-unique games against the NFC North and AFC West. Cumulatively, those two divisions feature the two highest cumulative win totals.

Slightly helpful for the Bills is that the schedule breaks more favorably at home. Buffalo’s five non-divisional home games come against opponents averaging a 10.5 win total.

On the road, their six non-divisional opponents average a 9.2 season win total. Under Josh Allen, Buffalo is 48-14 at home compared to 39-25 everywhere else.

That said, I don’t view the schedule as difficult as the opponent win totals suggest. Denver, Chicago, the Chargers and Texans all ran really lucky last season.

Cumulatively, Buffalo’s opponents won 152 games last year against only 145 expected victories.

Further encouraging for those bullish on Buffalo is the consistent offensive production. Not since the 2021 NFL season has Buffalo finished outside the top-five in offensive DVOA.

The team also deploys one of the league’s best rushing attacks. Over the last four years, Buffalo finished no worse than seventh in rush offense DVOA, per FTN Fantasy.

By retaining Brady, Buffalo should still run the ball effectively. If that happens, it takes the pressure off their defense against a significantly more difficult schedule.

Last year, Buffalo’s opponents averaged a -5% offensive DVOA rating. Only the Patriots saw an easier schedule of opposing offenses.

By last year’s DVOA ratings, Buffalo projects to face a set of opponents that averaged a -0.8% rating.

For Buffalo to reach 11 victories, you’re likely asking the offense to be the best unit in a game at least 11 times. You’re also likely asking the team to go 7-1 or better at home.

My gut says Buffalo gets there, but enough concerns exist that I’m not rushing to lay this price.

Most Wins in Bills History

The Bills’ franchise record for most regular season wins is 13, which happened in 1990, 1991, 2020, 2022 and 2024.

In 1990 and 1991, the Bills lost in the Super Bowl and remain among the 12 NFL teams that have never won the Super Bowl.

Fewest Wins in Bills History

The Bills’ franchise record for fewest regular-season wins is one; they went 1-13 in 1971, the team’s second year in the NFL.

They also won only two games in 1976, 1984, and 1985.
