For the 2025 NFL season, Marcus Mariota will serve as Jayden Danielsโ€™ backup in Washington.ย 

Mariota joined the Commanders prior to the start of the 2024 NFL season. He didnโ€™t start in any of Washingtonโ€™s games last season, but made three cameo appearances in games.ย
