The Green Bay Packers have five Super Bowl appearances.
Super Bowl I vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Vince Lombardi-era Packers were the NFL’s first dynasty, led by veteran quarterback Bart Starr and an excellent defensive unit.
After the 1966 season, they dominated the Chiefs in the first-ever AFL-NFL World Championship Game, later monikered the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl II vs. Oakland Raiders
The defending champs defeated the Oakland Raiders 33-14. Starr was named MVP for the second year in a row and became the only quarterback to win three consecutive NFL titles.
Super Bowl XXXI vs. New England Patriots
The Packers didn’t return to the Super Bowl for nearly 30 years.
After losing for the majority of the 1970s and 1980s, the Packers were back in good fortune in the early 1990s. After the 1996 season, they posted an NFC-best 13-3 regular season and went on to beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI, 35-21.
Super Bowl XXXII vs. Denver Broncos
The following year, the Packers made back-to-back Super Bowl appearances for the second time in franchise history. This time around, they met their first loss. They fell to the Broncos 31-24, despite being favored to win by double-digits.
Super Bowl XLV vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Green Bay captured its fourth and most recent Super Bowl title after the 2010 season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns, leading the way to a 31-25 victory over the Steelers.
