Joe Flacco Contract: Salary With Browns

You could be forgiven for thinking Joe Flacco – who entered the league in 2008 – had wrapped up his NFL career. 

But the one-time Super Bowl MVP still has a little life in his arm. Flacco has caught on as a crucial late-season addition for the Cleveland Browns, who are now in firm Wild Card positioning thanks to Flacco’s presence under center.

Joe Flacco is currently signed to a one-year contract with Cleveland to help bridge the Browns through an injury-plagued season.

He was originally signed to the Cleveland practice squad on Nov. 20, 2023, and upgraded to the active roster on Dec. 14, which yielded an upgrade to his contract terms. 

Joe Flacco Salary

Joe Flacco’s base salary with the Cleveland Browns is $1.8 million. His total contract value, which includes a $400,000 signing bonus, is $2.5 million.

Flacco’s 2023 contract includes the following performance incentives:

• $75,000 per regular season win
• $250,000 for a Wild Card win
• $500,000 for a Divisional Round win
• $1 million for an AFC Championship win
• $2 million for a Super Bowl victory

Joe Flacco has earned a total of $175,375,063 throughout his NFL career. 

Nearly $150 million of that came with the Baltimore Ravens, with whom he spent 11 years of his career.
