Quarterbacks Drafted Ahead of Jalen Hurts in 2020 NFL Draft

Entering the 2020 NFL Draft, the hype was surrounding Joe Burrow as the likely No. 1 pick and uncertain draft positions for several other quarterbacks, including Justin Herbert and Tua Tagovailoa.

Those three were among 13 quarterbacks selected in April 2020, a group also included Jalen Hurts. The former Oklahoma quarterback, however, wasn’t selected in the first round.

Four quarterbacks were drafted ahead of Jalen Hurts in the 2020 draft:

  • Joe Burrow: No. 1, Cincinnati Bengals
  • Tua Tagovailoa: No. 5, Miami Dolphins
  • Justin Herbert: No. 6, Los Angeles Chargers
  • Jordan Love: No. 26, Green Bay Packers

Twenty-seven picks after the Packers drafted Jordan Love, Jalen Hurts was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 53rd pick.
