New York Giants’ punter Brad Maynard punted 11 times in Super Bowl Super XXXV, the most punts in a single Super Bowl.
Maynard punted one more time than his counterpart, Kyle Richardson of the Baltimore Ravens, and broke the previous record of nine by Ron Widby in Super Bowl V. Widby is now tied with Johnny Hekker for the third-most punts in Super Bowl history.
Super Bowl Record for Most Combined Punts
Maynard and Richardson set the Super Bowl record for most combined punts with 22 in Super Bowl XXXV.
The Ravens and Giants combined for just 396 total yards in the Ravens’ 34-7 win.
