Texans vs. Jaguars Prediction, Odds, Pick: Week 4

A desperate Jaguars team, which is 0-3 to start the year, travels on short rest to face the Texans in Week 4. 

Both teams are coming off blowout losses in Week 3. Houston suffered a 34-7 blowout loss against the Vikings to fall to 2-1 while Jacksonville lost 47-10 to Buffalo on Monday night. 

This game marks the last straight up win for Trevor Lawrence, who guided Jacksonville to 24-21 win in Houston last November. That came after Houston won 37-17 in Jacksonville.

My Texans vs. Jaguars prediction is Nico Collins Over 5.5 Receptions (+105) and Over 72.5 Receiving Yards (-120). 

This is a disastrous matchup for the Jaguars, who are atrocious against the pass and are playing on short rest. 

Jacksonville, which is banged up in the secondary, is 19th in dropback success rate and 30th in dropback EPA per play, per rbsdm.com. 

They also play man coverage at the league’s highest rate. Last year, Collins excelled against the scheme. 

Only CeeDee Lamb produced a higher grade against man coverage than Collins last season. Through three games, Collins sits fourth in PFF’s grades against man coverage. 

Collins also excelled at home against the Jaguars last year. In Week 12, he caught seven balls for 104 yards and a touchdown. 

With Houston struggling to run the ball, take Collins to have another strong performance on Sunday.
