Trevor Lawrence is in his third season of a four-year contract with the Jaguars. The four-year deal is worth a total of $36,793,488. He has the 13th most expensive contract among quarterbacks (total value).

For the 2023 season, his base salary is $940,000. He has a total cap hit of $10,034,588.

Trevor Lawrence (and the rest of the 2021 first-round picks) can have their fifth-year options picked up until May 1, 2024.

All drafted rookies are given four-year contracts, and teams can extend that contract to a fifth year with players selected in the first round.

Trevor Lawrence is eligible for an extension after the third year of his rookie contract after the upcoming 2023 NFL season. 

Unless Lawrence’s play falls off a cliff in 2023, his representatives will likely start contract negotiations with the Jaguars as soon as possible. 

Jacksonville plays in arguably the weakest division in football, and none of the other teams have any kind of long-term solution at quarterback. On that alone, Lawrence could be a playoff fixture for years to come.
