The Lions have never won a Super Bowl and currently have the NFLโ€™s longest postseason win drought. They havenโ€™t won a postseason game since 1991, when the Lions beat the Cowboys 38-6 in the divisional round. It remains Detroitโ€™s only playoff win of the Super Bowl era.ย

Detroit has never appeared in any Super Bowl game.ย

The Lions franchise was originally founded in Ohio as the Portsmouth Spartans in 1930 but relocated to Detroit in 1934. In Detroit, the Lions won four NFL Championship games between 1935 and 1957, but has had virtually no high-level success during the Super Bowl era.
