Campbell was the assistant head coach/tight ends coach of the New Orleans Saints from 2016-2020. He became Detroit Lions head coach in 2021.

Campbellโ€™s coaching career began in Miami, where he joined in 2010 as an offensive coaching intern, then coached tight ends from 2011-2014 (and part of 2015). He also became the Miami interim head coach in 2015 after the Dolphins started 1-3 and the team ended with a 5-7 record under Campbell.

Campbell also had an 11-year playing career in the NFL with the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints. The current head coach was a Giants third-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft.
