Golf has been played at St. Andrews in Scotland for close to 600 years, which is why it’s known as the Home of Golf.
Immediately following the Masters, Tiger Woods committed to playing in the tournament, given the history of St. Andrews.
“I am looking forward to St. Andrews,” Woods told Sky Sports. “That is something that’s near and dear to my heart, I’ve won two Opens there, it’s the Home of Golf, it’s my favorite golf course in the world. I will be there for that one.”

The Open Championship has been played on the Old Course 29 times, more than any other venue.
Woods currently has British Open odds of +4000.
But when it comes to the best odds to win the British Open, that currently belongs to Jon Rahm at +1100. Rahm finished T-3 last year when the tournament was held at Royal St. George’s.
Collin Morikawa, the defending champion, currently has +1600 odds to defend his title. The last time the tournament had a repeat winner came back in 2007 and 2008 when Padraig Harrington won at Carnoustie and Royal Birkdale.
Known for rainy and windy conditions, the British Open is a difficult week for all players but is great to bet on.
