Golf has been played at St. Andrews in Scotland for close to 600 years, which is why it’s known as the Home of Golf.
The British Open (July 14-17) will return to the course for the first time since 2015 and make for a terrific week of golf betting.
Immediately following the Masters, Tiger Woods committed to playing in the tournament, given the history of St. Andrews.

The Open Championship has been played on the Old Course 29 times, more than any other venue. Woods currently has British Open odds of +6600.
But when it comes to the best odds to win the British Open, that currently belongs to Rory McIlory (+1000).
Xander Schauffele is climbing up the odds board following wins at the Travelers Championship and most recently at the Genesis Scottish Open. He’s currently +1400, the second-best in the field.
Known for rainy and windy conditions, the British Open is a difficult week for all players but is great to bet on.
