After several tournaments on the West Coast and then Mexico last week, the PGA Tour will be in Florida for the next month.
It begins with the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, Feb. 29-March 3. Although this is the event’s first year, it’s essentially the Honda Classic, just with a different title sponsor.
It isn’t a PGA Tour signature event but will be played at PGA National, the site of the Honda Classic since 2007.
Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches Field
Following many of the top players taking the week off last week, several will return this week, as the event will be played close to where many reside in Jupiter, Florida.
Rory McIlroy headlines the field, but several other big names are teeing it up, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young and Tom Kim.
