  • Tiger and Charlie Woods headline the field.
  • There are 20 teams participating.

Although not an official PGA Tour event and therefore not counting toward the PGA Tour prize money for the season, the PNC Championship is an exciting week.

The PNC Championship, formerly the PNC Father-Son, will have 20 teams competing in a scramble format.

The event will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, Dec. 17-18.

John Daly and his son John Daly II are the defending champions, while Tiger Woods and his son Charlie will be seeking their first victory in this event.

PNC Championship Format

The 20 teams will play in a scramble format over two days.

This means both players hit from the tee, and the team selects the best shot among the two. They then both play from that spot and select the better shot from there. They continue this pattern until the ball is in the hole.

Players will play from different tees depending on age, gender and skill level.
