  • The RSM Classic is the final full-field event of the 2022 calendar year.
  • Denny McCarthy, Keith Mitchell and Ben Griffin are good options for prop bets.
  • Brian Harman (+1800) has the best golf odds to win.

The Fall Swing of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season is nearing its end, with the last full-field event of the calendar season this week at The RSM Classic, which has a purse of $8.1 million.

Following Tony Finau’s withdrawal ahead of the event, Brian Harman (No. 26) is the highest-ranked player in the field.

With not many stars teeing it up, I will keep my betting card simple, hoping to make up for a subpar fall and gain momentum for the 2023 calendar year.

The RSM Classic Predictions: 3 Picks

  • Keith Mitchell Top-10 Finish +260 (1 Unit)
  • Denny McCarthy Top-10 Finish +260 (1 Unit)
  • Ben Griffin Top-20 Finish +400 (1 Unit)

Mitchell is a resident of Sea Island, so he has plenty of familiarity with the two courses the players will play. He has two top-15 finishes in the last three editions of the tournament and comes in following his best finish of the season at the Cadence Bank Houston Open (T-9).

McCarthy is a great course fit. He doesn’t hit the ball very far, but he hits a ton of greens, and it will come down to how well he putts. The 29-year-old has two career top-10 finishes at this event.

Few people have likely heard of Griffin, but the rookie has quietly made five of six cuts this fall and is very comfortable at Sea Island. He recently played a casual round at the Seaside course and shot a 59. Those good vibes could help him out this week.

Season Record: 5-30, -9.32 units (Last week: 0-3, -3 units)
