Typically, the week after majors are letdowns, with most top players taking the week off.

That was not the case at the Travelers Championship, with five top-10 players in the world golf rankings teeing it up. With a few of those players in the mix, it made for a solid week of golf betting.

In the end, Xander Schauffele came out on top with a final score of 19-under. He was two shots clear of J.T. Poston and Sahith Theegala. Theegala had a one-shot lead heading into his 18th hole but made a double bogey.

Schauffele was paired with Patrick Cantlay in the final group. Cantlay struggled with 76 on Sunday and finished T-13.

This was Schauffele’s first individual win on the PGA Tour since the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions.

For his win, Schauffele earned a winner’s payout of $1,494,000, which was part of the $8.3 million purse.
