The Valero Texas Open, the final event before the Masters, was March 30-April 2 from TPC San Antonio.

While it wasn’t a designated event, it still had a solid field, including Hideki Matsuyama, Tyrrell Hatton, Corey Conners and Rickie Fowler.

For the second time in his career, Conners won the event. He finished at X, which was X better than Sam Stevens.

Conners’ opening round 64 set the tone for the week. He also won the event back in 2019.

The event had a purse of $8.9 million.
