The Valero Texas Open, the final event before the Masters, was April 2-5 from TPC San Antonio.

Although it was not a PGA Tour signature event, many top players are in the field, including Ludvig Aberg, Russell Henley, Tommy Fleetwood, Hideki Matsuyama, Robert MacIntyre and Jordan Spieth.

In an event that battled rain all four days, J.J. Spaun was the winner. He finished at 17-under, good for a one-shot win.

It was his third career PGA Tour win.

The purse was $9.8 million.
