The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, which has a purse of $20 million, will be March 22-26 from Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas.

This will be the final edition of the Match Play tournament, but it will go out as its biggest ever since it will be a designated event.

The top 64 eligible players in the Official World Golf Rankings are in the field, with two eligible players (Justin Thomas and Justin Rose) electing to skip the event. Justin Suh, who is No. 77, was the final player to get into the tournament.

WGC Dell-Technologies Match Play Format

This is a unique week as the 64 players in the field will play match play over the course of five days. This is great for golf betting.

The 64 players have been placed into groups of four players (based on world ranking) and will play a round-robin format over the first three days. The winners from each group make it to the Round of 16 and then play bracket style until a winner is determined.

The Round of 16 will be played Saturday morning, with the winners playing in the afternoon. Sunday morning will feature the semi-finals and the afternoon will have the championship match along with the third-place match.
