The PGA Championship playoff format is a three-hole aggregate. This is unlike most PGA Tour events, where it’s a sudden-death single-hole.
This means players would play three holes, and the lowest total score would be the winner.
At Quail Hollow for 2025, the three-hole aggregate playoff would be played on the 16th, 17th and 18th holes. If it is tied after that, it will be sudden death on those three holes.
