The PGA Championship cut differs from most other PGA Tour events. After two rounds, the top 70 players, including ties, make it to the weekend.

Most PGA Tour events have the top 65 players and ties playing the weekend. Meanwhile, at the Masters, the top 50 players and ties play the weekend.

Specific to 2023 and Oak Hill, it played very difficult so the cut was well over par.

It ended up being five-over, with several big names, including Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas making it on the number.

Additionally, all players who make the cut at the PGA Championship get paid.
