The first full-field event of the 2024 PGA Tour season will be the Sony Open in Hawaii. It will be played at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The course differs greatly from the Plantation Course in Kapalua, which hosted The Sentry a week ago.
At 7,044 yards, it is much shorter. This means distance is not as important as it was a week ago.
It also will not yield as many low scores.
Si Woo Kim won last year’s event at 18-under.
