The final regular-season event of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season is the Wyndham Championship, August 4-7.
It isn’t a designated event, but it still has a solid field as players looking to improve their place in the standings for the FedEx Cup playoffs. Only the top 70 players qualify, which is different than in years past when it was 125.
Sedgefield Country Club is a short, positional course where the same players typically play well here year in and year out.
Wyndham Championship Field
There are no top 15 players in the Official World Golf Rankings teeing it up, although several are in the top 30.
Those include Sam Burns and Justin Thomas, who are looking to climb the Fed Ex Cup standings and make a case to be a captain’s pick for the United States Ryder Cup team.
