  • Luton Town is a -0.5-goal favorite against Everton.
  • The Hatters won 2-1 at Goodison Park and need a victory in an effort to avoid relegation.
  • Why bettors should look to the prop markets for Friday’s fixture.

As Luton Town attempt to climb out of the relegation zone into safety, they welcome Everton to Kenilworth Road on Friday.

Luton and Everton have met two times this season, with the Hatters capturing two straight up victories. However, it came with a little bit of luck on their side.

Most recently, Luton dropped all three points at Wolves while Everton captured their third straight win in a home match against Brentford.

Here’s a look at the EPL odds and my prediction for Friday’s fixture.

EPL Betting Odds – Luton Town vs. Everton

  • Luton Town Moneyline: +155
  • Everton Moneyline: +160
  • Draw Moneyline: +260
  • Over/Under: 2.5 Goals (-150/+110)

EPL Prediction – Luton Town vs. Everton

Both Teams to Score – Second Half (+180)

This particular prop market has proved a cash cow in Luton Town home matches.

The “yes” side of both teams to score has hit in 14 of 17 fixtures at Kenilworth Road, including seven of their last eight games.

Rather than laying heavy juice with the “yes” side of both teams to score – it’s currently -175 – I’ll target both teams to score in the second half.

In those 17 matches at Kenilworth Road, the “yes” side of this second half market has cashed 11 times.

Luton in particular have proved much better at scoring in the second half. They’ve cleared 0.5 goals in 13 of 17 home second halves and 23 of 35 second halves overall.

In their two meetings against Everton this season, Luton have done better in the latter half.

Of the 3.2 post-shot xG they’ve created against the Toffees, 57% came in the second half.

However, this is simultaneously a Luton side that has allowed a goal in 27 of 35 second halves, including four straight and five of their last six.

Finally, this is an Everton side that has managed a second half tally in nine of 17 road fixtures this season compared to a first half goal in only four of 17.

As a result, expect goals later in the game, especially if Luton needs to chase the game as they seek three points.
