The UFC Bantamweight title is up for grabs once again, as defending champion Aljamain Sterling (23-3) and No. 2-ranked contender Sean O’Malley (16-1) headline the main event of UFC 292 this Saturday, Aug. 19, inside TD Garden in Boston. Sterling is the betting favorite in UFC odds at -250 against O’Malley, who takes the underdog role at +200.

It will be “The Funk Master’s” fourth title defense since winning the title against Petr Yan in March 2021 via disqualification due to an illegal strike. Meanwhile, “Sugar Sean” earned his shot at the title via his four-fight winning streak, including three TKO/KO finishes. O’Malley’s latest victory came against former champion Yan in October 2022 via split decision.
In the co-main event, UFC Women’s Strawweight champion Zhang Weili will defend her newly-minted title against No. 5-ranked challenger Amanda Lemos. Weili is coming off a second-round submission win over Carla Esparza to begin her second reign as the 115-pound champion. Other notable names fighting on the card are Neil Magny, Ian Garry, and Chris Weidman.
