A new UFC Bantamweight Champion was crowned inside the TD Garden in Boston as Sean O’Malley (17-1) TKO’ed Aljamain Sterling (23-4) in the main event of UFC 292. “Suga Sean” landed a picture-perfect right-hand punch that instantly sent the “Funk Master” down the canvas before pouring a barrage of punches to force the referee to stop the fight.

The win has catapulted O’Malley to superstar status and cemented himself as a perpetual favorite in online sports betting via UFC odds. In the co-main event, Zhang Weili (23-3-) dominated Amanda Lemos (13-3-1) to defend her UFC Women’s Strawweight title successfully.
It was an incredible performance from “Magnum” as she was able to set a new record for the most significant strikes landed in a women’s UFC fight with 228. Because of this great showing, both O’Malley and Weili were awarded an additional $50,000 bonus for the Performance of the Night honor. Brad Katona and Cody Gibson also received the $50K bonus for the Fight of the Night award.
