Dricus Du Plessis proved that his first win over Sean Strickland was not a fluke, as he defeated him once more in their championship rematch via unanimous decision at UFC 312 inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.

โ€œStillknocksโ€ retained his middleweight title, extending his perfect record under the Las Vegas-based promotion. Furthermore, this latest dominant victory by the South African champion should make him a favorite at BetMGMโ€™s sportsbook against any opponent the next time his UFC odds are available.

The PPV card also saw Zhang Weili fend off the challenge of Tatiana Suarez in their UFC strawweight title match to remain the undisputed queen of the weight class. Meanwhile, five fighters received the coveted $50,000 for the Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night honors.
