- No opponent is confirmed yet for Weili.
Zhang Weili officially became a two-time UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion after submitting Carla Esparza in November 2022 in the second round of their championship showdown. It was her seventh UFC career win since her promotional debut in August 2018. Also known as “Magnum,” Weili is a top name in BetMGM’s online sportsbook through the UFC odds.
But when will the Chinese MMA superstar go back into action to defend her championship belt? And who is her next opponent?
When Is Zhang Weili’s Next Fight?
The next fight and opponent for Zhang Weili is still to be confirmed, but in the post-fight interviews, Weili voiced her desire to headline a UFC pay-per-view event in China in 2023. If her wish is to be granted by the Las Vegas-based promotion, it will be the first major pay-per-view event in China, where billions are waiting for them.
