WNBA Minimum Player Salary in 2025

The WNBAโ€™s minimum player salary for the 2025 season is $66,079. Under the WNBA collective bargaining agreement, a player on a new full-year contract cannot be paid less than that.

According to Spotrac, that is the minimum salary for players with 0-2 years of experience. If players have at least three years of experience, their minimum salary climbs to $78,831 for the 2025 season.

The current CBA is in place through the 2027 season. As the league’s popularity grows, players are expected to make more in the future.

According to HerHoopStats, the WNBA salary cap for the 2025 season is $1,507,100, while the minimum for a team is $1,261,440.

A WNBA roster must have 11-12 players.

Under the latest CBA, the salary cap will increase by 3% each season.
