  • The Ningbo Open follows other major Chinese tournaments in Wuhan and Beijing.
  • The total prize purse for the 2024 Ningbo Open is more than $900,000.

The womenโ€™s tennis tour hit a crescendo last weekend with the Wuhan Open wrapping the WTA 1000 schedule for the 2024 season.

That doesnโ€™t mean the Asian swing is over for womenโ€™s tennis, though. While the ATP has moved west to the Almaty Open and some other smaller European tournaments, the WTA is remaining in China for several more smaller tournaments.

The largest of those is this weekโ€™s Ningbo Open, which has been upgraded to a WTA 500 event for 2024. Headlining players include Qinwen Zheng, Barbora Krejฤรญkovรก, Paula Badosa, and Katie Boulter. BetMGM has tennis lines for all those playersโ€™ upcoming matches and more.ย

The total prize purse for Ningbo is $922,573. The singles champion will earn a nice payday of $142,000.ย
