I am predicting Over 58.5 points scored in Friday night’s nonconference game between Kansas State and Arizona.
Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita and Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson are both high-ceiling playmakers in charge of powerful, effective offenses. (They’re also both relevant in the Heisman odds market.)
I’m not confident in either defense, either. Arizona gave up 39 points to New Mexico in Week 1, while Kansas State allowed 34 to Tulane last Saturday.
Arizona is 5-2 to the over in nonconference away games since 2015.
Both offenses should stay ahead of the opposing defenses, setting up an over on a mid-market number like 58.5.
On the side, I lean toward Arizona +7.5.
