As of May 26, the Houston Astros’ odds to win the World Series in 2023 are +700, fourth in MLB behind the Atlanta Braves (+500), Los Angeles Dodgers (+500), and Tampa Bay Rays (+650).

Prior to Opening Day, the online sportsbook had the Astros at +700 to win the World Series, second only to the Dodgers (+500).

As they struggled at the beginning of the season and have since come back, the Astros’ odds have fluctuated accordingly, though the reigning champions have never slipped out of the top four teams.

Houston Astros World Series History

The Astros have won two World Series titles in their franchise’s history — 2017 and 2022.

Their first title came in 2017, ending a drought of 52 years since their debut in 1965.

The Astros won their second World Series title in 2022, beating the Philadelphia Phillies in six games. In Game 4, Astros pitchers Cristian Javier, Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly achieved a combined no-hitter, marking the first World Series no-hitter since Don Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series.
