The Colorado Rockies are on pace to be one of the worst teams in history during the 2025 MLB season.

The Rockies are 9-45 for a .167 winning percentage as of late May. FanGraphs currently projects Colorado to finish with a 52-110 record (.321 winning percentage) this season.

For context, the 1899 Cleveland Spiders have the title for worst regular-season record by most losses and winning percentage. They went 20-134 for a winning percentage of .130.

The Chicago White Sox set the modern record (1901-present) for losses in an MLB season, finishing 41-121 (.253) in 2024.
