As spring training approaches and the 2023 New York Yankees roster is slowly confirmed, it’s only natural for fans to start getting excited about the season ahead.

The 2023 regular season runs from Thursday, Mar. 30 to Sunday, Oct. 1. This will be the first season to feature a new balanced schedule, where all teams will play each other for at least one series during the regular season.

Along with the rest of the league, the Yankees’ first regular-season game of the 2023 MLB season is on Thursday, Mar. 30.

On Opening Day, the Yankees will meet the San Francisco Giants at 1:05 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium in New York.

Where Do the Yankees Have Spring Training?

Each year, the Yankees host spring training at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida, and 2023 will be the team’s 28th season conducting spring training at this facility.

The Yankees’ first spring training game is scheduled for Feb. 25 at 1:05 p.m. ET against the Philadelphia Phillies (SS).
