The Oakland Athletics are moving to Las Vegas, having agreed to buy a 49-acre site in Paradise, Nevada, for a new ballpark. The new MLB park will be located just west of the Las Vegas strip, at the site of the Wild Wild West casino across Interstate 15 from T-Mobile Arena, the home arena of the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL).
The Athletics are expected to begin playing at their new stadium in Las Vegas in 2027.
