Second on the list in this category is the ever-reliable point guard Derek Fisher who appeared in 259 games for three teams (Lakers, Jazz, and Thunder). Because of his solid role as a playmaker, the first-round pick in the 1996 draft captured five NBA titles with the Lakers in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010. Fisher’s playoff career averages were 8.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
Like Fisher, Tim Duncan won five NBA titles during his career, but he played eight fewer games at 251. Also, “The Big Fundamental” played his entire 19-year career with San Antonio since being drafted as the No. 1 pick in the 1997 draft. Alongside his five rings, Duncan amassed postseason career numbers of 20.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
Sitting fourth and fifth in this category of NBA players with the most playoff games played were Robert Horry with 244 and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 237. Horry and Abdul-Jabbar were winners, collecting seven and six rings, respectively. “ The Big A” had better career averages than “Big Shot Rob,” with 24.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
