Mountain West Tournament Prediction
Nevada (+500) will win the Mountain West men’s basketball tournament and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Wolf Pack have won seven in a row coming into this tournament, including wins at Boise State, Colorado State, and UNLV. They’re the hottest team in the conference.
But it’s not just that. Nevada’s likely opponent if it makes the final is Utah State, and the Wolf Pack were the only team to win in Logan all year. Nevada sliced up Utah State’s defense, shooting more than 50% from the field and generating tons of free throws.
I would expect a similar matchup advantage in a potential championship game rematch.
