Jones arrives in the Bay Area after a one-year stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones made seven starts with the Jaguars, winning two games.
Prior to his time in Jacksonville, Jones played three seasons with the New England Patriots. He led New England to a 10-7 record in 202, but finished 18-24 in 42 starts.
