C.J. Stroud Contract: Salary, Guaranteed Money

After he was selected with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud signed a four-year contract with an average annual salary of $9.07 million.

Right now, the Texans have one of the best values in the NFL. Houston won the AFC South in 2023 despite the fact that its quarterbackโ€™s base salary was less than $1 million.ย

C.J. Stroud signed a four-year rookie contract with a total value of $36,279,243, all of which is fully guaranteed.

C.J. Stroud Salary

C.J. Stroud will earn $2.4 million from his contract with the Texans during the 2024 NFL season.ย 

C.J. Stroud Signing Bonus

C.J. Stroudโ€™s signing bonus for his rookie contract totaled $23,384,904.

C.J. Stroud 5th Year Option

Like all first-round picks, Stroudโ€™s rookie contract can be extended by the Texans for a fifth year. That extension would govern the 2027 NFL season.
