  • The Cowboys are a 4-point home favorite against the Giants.
  • The Giants have lost each of their last nine Thursday games.
  • My Cowboys vs. Giants prediction is a CeeDee Lamb player prop bet.

The two NFC East bottomfeeders meet on Thursday in Dallas, with the Cowboys hosting the Giants.

Dallas captured a shock win in Week 12 over the Commanders as 10.5-point underdogs, which included two special teams touchdowns. Still, Dallas is 4-7 on the season.

The Giants received a 30-7 beatdown from the Buccaneers following a Week 11 bye week, dropping New York to 2-9. At home against Dallas, the Giants fell 20-15.

Cowboys vs. Giants Prediction

Based on New York’s inability to cover top wide receivers and his usage with Cooper Rush, my Cowboys vs. Giants prediction is CeeDee Lamb Over 66.5 Receiving Yards (-115).

Lamb owned the Giants in Week 4, reeling in seven receptions on eight targets for 98 yards.

Although that came with Dak Prescott at quarterback, Lamb’s usage hasn’t fallen off since Rush took over the job.

In the last two games, Rush targeted Lamb 24 times for 18 receptions and 160 yards. In each of those contests, Lamb cleared this number.

On Thursday, Lamb faces a Giants defense that struggles to defend top wide receivers.

New York ranks 32nd in DVOA against WR1’s and 29th overall in pass defense DVOA, per ftnfantasy.com.

Even more concerning for New York is that Lamb dominates the Cowboys target share against zone coverage.

The Giants deploy that scheme at a near 61% clip in passing situations.

This season, Lamb owns 41% of targets amongst Cowboys receivers against zone and is one of only three pass catchers on Dallas with 30 or more targets against zone.

Assuming Jake Ferguson remains out for Dallas, I like the prospect of Rush feeding Lamb against a weak Giants secondary.
